I've been a nurse practitioner since 1973 and I bet you 98% of my patients see me as their primary care provider. I get help once in a while to make sure I'm not missing something or to understand something better, but my care is comprehensive and their health improves

I am a FNP-C in a Family Practice and Urgent Care setting, and I have a wonderful collaberative relationship with the MD/owner of this practice. Our patients would agree that there are things that I do better, and there are things that he does better, and we as the professional healthcare providers know what those things are. It is in the collaberative effort that we provide outstanding care to our patients. We are not the same, and would never claim to be. He would tell you that, yes, I can provide quality primary care to our patients. Our patients would agree.
